Location - Cyprus is the most easterly of the Mediterranean Islands with the nearest costal point being Turkey approx 40 miles, next approx 60 miles is Syria and then approx 250 miles is Egypt.

Located to the south of Kyrenia - Girne, lies Nicosia - Lefkosa which is the capital of North Cyprus and where the Green Line seperates the North from the South.

The Climate as you would expect is typically Mediterranean.  Long summers, short winters and somewhere in between spring and autumn which are mild, warm and pleasent.  Between Nov and March  Cyprus does have a moderate amount of rain. This being said we are now at the end of Nov and the temps for the past 2 weeks have stayed around 70F 20C with not a drop of rain to be found.
